Three of six of Chad's college best friends are expecting babies this year, so the boys obviously decided one last guys trip was in order...although I have a feeling a lifetime of guys only trips will continue with or without babies or the wives approval. They decided on Vegas of course, but Chad really had an itch to go fishing in Costa Rica. Having spent a wonderful month in the country in medical school, I thought it great to spend a long weekend with his dad doing what he loves I think more than golf and close behind LSU football. So off he went with his childhood friend, Phil and his dad. They fished everyday, even forgoing the final USA world cup game...which I guess wasn't that big of a sacrifice seeing as they lost to Ghana. Here are a few pics from his great trip. We are in New Orleans this weekend with our parents for baby Mason's first baby shower and then we're staying put in Houston until this baby decides to make its entrance.
